Warranty Policy

Warranty and Maintenance Policy

First: Warranty Conditions and Periods

Alharam Perfect Machinery and Equipment Company guarantees all equipment and devices sold through its authorized distributors against manufacturing defects. The warranty periods are distributed according to the type of equipment as follows:

  • Power Tools: 24 months (two years) maintenance warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Petrol or Diesel Engine Pumps: 12 months (one year) maintenance warranty.
  • Construction Equipment, Power Generators, Welding Machines, Air Compressors, and Agricultural Equipment: 6 months warranty, subject to the following:
    1. The warranty covers the engine only and does not cover structural parts, the generation unit, the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) in electrical generators, or electronic cards in welding machines.
    2. The warranty for construction equipment and welding machines covers maintenance labor charges only and does not include spare parts.
    3. All motorized construction equipment is sold without oil or fuel. If breakage or damage occurs as a result of operating them without adding oil or fuel, the company is completely exempted from repair liability.
    4. Hand Tools: Warranty periods are determined and covered according to the specific conditions provided by the brand's manufacturer.
Second: Cases Excluded from the Warranty (What the Warranty Does Not Cover)

The customer's right to the warranty is forfeited, and the equipment is considered out of warranty in the following cases:

  1. Defects and malfunctions resulting from misuse, poor installation, incorrect operation, or failure to follow periodic maintenance instructions (such as changing the oil or cleaning the air filter) detailed in the equipment's catalog.
  2. Consumable parts and external components that require periodic replacement such as: carbon brushes, filters, capacitors, carburetors, oils, ball bearings, belts, etc.
  3. Batteries, chargers, laser devices, generation units, and voltage regulators in generators.
  4. Any fracture or physical damage to the equipment's exterior, damage and accidents occurring during transportation, or poor storage of the product.
  5. Dismantling or tampering with the product, or making any modifications to it, such as cutting or modifying the electrical wire or plug.
  6. Maintenance or repairs carried out outside the company's maintenance centers or authorized service centers, or the use of non-original spare parts.
  7. Exposing the devices to unauthorized external factors (such as heavy dust, water, rust) or using unregulated electricity.
  8. Malfunctions in garden equipment that operate on the principle of mixing petrol with oil (such as chainsaws, leaf blowers, agricultural shears).
  9. Compressed air products, mechanical fuel-operated products, and products operating on electronic boards (if they deviate from factory conditions).
  10. Equipment and devices used for rental or other commercial purposes other than their designated original use.
  11. Exceeding the maximum workload or maximum capacity stated in the user manual.
  12. Failure to stamp the warranty card from the distributor, or the absence of the original purchase invoice (or a copy of it).
Third: Warranty Procedures and Maintenance Centers
  • Authorized Repair:
Manufacturing defects are repaired through the Authorized Service Center (ASC).
  • Independent Brands:
For certain brands possessing their own authorized service network within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Alharam Perfect Company will not perform direct repairs. The customer is obligated to take the product directly to that brand's service center while presenting a valid purchase invoice from Alharam Perfect Company, and the company will guide the customer to the appropriate center's contact information.
  • Execution Mechanism and Timings:
    1. The consumer must present the original purchase invoice and the stamped warranty card to execute the warranty.
    2. If the equipment is covered by the warranty, the center undertakes to fully maintain it (labor charges and spare parts depending on the equipment type). The maintenance takes 15 days from the date of receipt or customer approval, or within 7 working days if spare parts are ready.
Fourth: Out-of-Warranty Maintenance Conditions

If the authorized maintenance center determines that the device is out of warranty due to expiration or misuse:

  1. The consumer bears all maintenance costs, labor charges, and the value of spare parts.
  2. An inspection/service fee is collected from the customer and deducted from the total maintenance cost if the customer agrees to the repair. If the customer refuses, this amount is non-refundable.

Cost Limits:

  • If the repair cost is 100 SAR or less, maintenance is carried out directly without referring back to the customer.
  • If the cost is more than 100 SAR, the customer is contacted in advance to obtain their approval before starting the repair.
  • A 15-day warranty is provided on new spare parts used in the repair.
